Why should you donate?

Donating for the pleasure of Allah is a virtuous deed. Allah says in the Holy Quran:

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقْنَـٰكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ يَوْمٌ لَّا بَيْعٌ فِيهِ وَلَا خُلَّةٌ وَلَا شَفَـٰعَةٌ ۗ وَٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ هُمُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ

Meaning: O believers! Donate from what We have provided for you before the arrival of a Day when there will be no bargaining, friendship, or intercession. Those who disbelieve are ˹truly˺ the wrongdoers.

Sura Baqara 2:254

مَّثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنۢبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنَابِلَ فِى كُلِّ سُنۢبُلَةٍ مِّا۟ئَةُ حَبَّةٍ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يُضَـٰعِفُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ

Meaning: The example of those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah is that of a grain that sprouts into seven ears, each bearing one hundred grains. And Allah multiplies ˹the reward even more˺ to whoever He wills. For Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.

Sura Baqara 2:261

Beloved Prophet ﷺ said (meaning):

On the Day of Qiyamah, people will be in the shade of the charity [they gave], until it is time for accountability.

Where your donation goes

We pay off your valuable Zakat humbly to:

Only the poor & needy, who is:
— a jobless individual or engaged in very low-paid jobs 
— an individual burdened by overwhelming debt 
— eligible to recieve Zakat (widows, sick people, refugees, students)

We pay off your valuable general donations humbly to:

—build Masjid (mosque)
—build public institutions
—set-up water sources (taps, tube-well etc)
—provide an opportunity for any charitable support
—provide support to any needy individual (not eligible to recive Zakat)
—provide support to a needy who could be a Muslim/a non-Muslim

Rasulullah ﷺ said (meaning):
On the Day of Qiyamah, people will be in the shade of the charity [they gave], until it is time for accountability.
